Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Gluten-free elbow macaroni

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter

  • 4 Tablespoons Gluten-free flour blend

  • 2 1/2 Cup Whole milk

  • A pinch of salt for cheese sauce, 1 tablespoon for boiling

  • 1 Teaspoon Black pepper

  • 2 Teaspoons Dry mustard powder

  • 2 1/2 Cup Shredded cheddar cheese (measure after grating)

  • 1 Cup Swiss cheese

  • 3 Cups Water (for boiling macaroni)

Directions

  • Boil the macaroni
    Take a large container; add water and a small amount of salt in it. Heat it until the bubble starts forming. Add macaroni in this boiling water and cook according to the directions mentioned on the package. Do not overcook the macaroni. When it is done, drain and wash with cold water.
  • Prepare the cheese sauce
    In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Then add the flour it with continuous stirring until the flour gets cook completely and form a smooth paste. It will take only 1-2 minutes.
    In this butter and flour mixture add milk and stir well. Turn down the heat to medium-low. Add the pepper, salt, and mustard powder in this mixture.
