  • Bacon 12 oz, 1 inch pieces

  • Italian sausage 1 lb (without casing)

  • Block cream cheese 1 (8-oz), softened

  • Shredded mozzarella 2 cup

  • Ricotta 1 cup

  • Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red pepper flakes 1/2 teaspoon

  • Pizza sauce 1 1/2 cup

  • Pepperoni slices 1/2 cup, or 9 for instant pot version

  • Parmesan 1/4 cup, freshly grated

  • Sliced baguette for serving

Directions

  • Stovetop method
  • 1st step: Gather all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Cook bacon for about 8 minutes over medium heat, until crispy in oven-safe skillet. Place it on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • 2nd step: Use the same skillet and cook sausage for about 6 minutes, with the help of wooden spoon break up the meat and drain out the fat.
  • 3rd step: Take a medium sized bowl and add mozzarella cheese, ricotta, cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Mix well all these ingredients of cheese dip..
  • 4th step: Take skillet and add cream cheese, bacon, and sausage to it. Stir well to combine these ingredients and spread them in the form of an even layer. Then it’s a time to spread pizza sauce over the first layer. Top with 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and pepperoni.

  • 1st step: Take instant pot, and then cook bacons for almost 8-15 minutes over. Drain out the fat and dish out cooked bacon on a paper towel-lined plate. Pour small quantity of water in a pot and remove any brown bits got fixed to the bottom of the pot. Drain water.
  • 2nd step: Add sausages in the pan that is on sauté, cook the sausages for 6 minutes, and break the meat with the help of a wooden spoon. Stop cooking when pink color turns to light golden brown. Wash the instant pot after draining the fat.
  • 3rd step: Use a medium sized bowl, and then add cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, ricotta, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes to it and combine thoroughly all the ingredients. Then add bacon and sausage to this mixture.
  • 4th step: Spread the mixture into the 1-quart baking dish of suitable size that can easily fit in the pot.
  • 5th step: Pour pizza sauce on the top of the cheese dip and sprinkle the left over mozzarella cheese and then add pepperoni and parmesan as a topping. One thing must kept in mind is that carefully cover your baking dish will aluminum foil.
  • 6th step: Place a stand at the bottom of the pot, also add one cup of water in it. Take aluminum foil and fold it thrice and make a long sling, place the baking dish on a stand in a way that the dish centered on a foil sling. Fold the strip over the top, but do not allow it to touch the top.
  • 7th step: Lock the lid of the pot and cook it for 15 minutes on high pressure. Do not open the lid again and again to check the cheese dip before the completion of the cycle. Carefully take out the dish from the pot.
